American Me?

At Creative House Press, we want to help people and the world grow in a positive manor.  At times to do that, something needs to be written, said or created that pushes peoples buttons, not in a way to cause harm, but to create a dialogue.  Therefore, we are proud to introduce to you a new book coming out later this fall entitled; American Me?.  Here is a snippet from Dennis's blog:

"The book that took me a lifetime of experience to create, and over three years to write............  I told the publisher I felt I could write this book perpetually and forever, with the fodder and lip service constantly coming out of America's Politicians, Big Biz, and Big Wigs. I had to stop somewhere so it is now in process of publication and will be available soon. More to come!"

To read a sample chapter of the book, please visit our web site at: http://www.creativehousepress.com/Books/Sample%20Chapters/scamericanme.htm

Spiritual Books

One of the key items to our company's growth is offering a variety of books.  As part of that variety, Spiritual Growth and Empowerment is one of our main concerns.  We want to offer books that help individuals grow personally and in a positive manner.  This comes through our children’s books, and of course our Spiritual books.

A Quest…Beyond the Visible by Binduu Chopra is a wonderful tale of a ladies growth in her spiritual consciousness.  While Sorry, Not Dead Yet! by Sven Paardekooper is full of short essays from one man’s perspective as he deals with coming to terms of his HIV status and his drug addiction.

Spirit Never Dies is a fictional work that involves spiritual growth as is Extinguishing the Light.  Two books that go beyond the fictional thriller aspect, give the readers a spiritual perspective that they may not have concerned before.

Our spiritual outreach does not stop there; through art, photography and meaning full children’s stories, we offer our readers a wide variety to read and grow from.  Being an active participant of the world’s growth is what makes Creative House Press one of the fastest growing traditional publishers in America.

Pretty Books

The following pertains to fiction books.

It is interesting how much people look at a cover of a book before picking it up to read the synopsis or the reviews.  We as humans are so hooked on the visual aspect of things, and it shows with book covers.  What about the guts of the book?  Does it matter how ‘pretty’ it is on the inside?

Some of my authors feel that it absolutely does, so they want to go to the extra expense of having pictures or drawings for each chapter.  But to a reader, does that matter?  They have already picked it up, read the back cover, and maybe even a couple of pages inside the book before buying it.  Thus, the words have made a difference to them, not how pretty the chapter headings are, or the pictures inside the book.

For an average fiction book, pictures are not the essence of the story and can actually take away from the story.  The reader wants the words to paint the picture, to give them food for thought.  A good author can and will accomplish that, not the pictures inside the book.

Rominus

Creative House Press has a new novel coming out in October entitled Rominus by Jonathan Amaret.  Here is the synopsis for the book:

For over 11,000 years they have secretly ruled the earth through an ancient society known as the Rominus Empire, bringing death and order to an already decadent world.  Yet within this kingdom, is an ancient prophecy that foretells of an imminent civil war between clans fated to spark the end of the human race and of the king destined to stop it.  There are those clandestine few who believe in the coming of this new ruler and have conspired to find him only in vain, but now after centuries of searching and waiting, it is he who seeks them, not for peace or power, but for revenge.

New Blog

Howdy! My name is Alan and I am the CEO of Creative House International Press, Inc.  We are a traditional publishing company, with working relationships in the Movie, Game and Music industry.

My blog will have many things, of course telling you about our newest books, but also insights in to getting published, what the industry is like from my perspective and so much more.

At times, I am also going to give my two cents worth on current issues relating to this country and around the world.

I hope you will come back often to see what I wrote and to give me your feedback as well.  There is nothing like a good healthy discussion.

Cheers,
Alan
